  • Call Of The Wild 2025 VIP Welcome Party Thursday Review 29-05-2025

It's a windy Thursday down at Lincolnshire Showground. You can hear the sound of tent pegs being hammered into the ground, the chatter of voices, the hiss of cold cans being opened, and the familiar sound of friends, family, and fans coming together for the VIP Welcome Party of Call Of The Wild 2025. Tonight's special event is hosting extra special guests FOXX , Moskito , and Scuzz Lightyear. With these evenings parting, continue with DJ sets throughout the night. FOXX Opening up this year's festival, we have FOXX! Having had the pleasure of seeing Foxx earlier in the year at Rockmantic Carslie, I was highly forward to seeing them again, and they didn't disappoint. Foxx's on-beat sound was the perfect crowd-capturing for a nice upbeat and light set to ease us in. Foxx's rock n' roll style is precisely what we needed to start the night off! Moskito Rolling up next with Buckfast on stage is our 5-piece shouty boys in Moskito, their high-energy set gets the crowd moving and the drinks flowing. Whether you were standing at the barrier or outside by the burger van, everyone was having the best time, enjoying every moment. Moskito always comes out with high energy and power. With the audience singing and dancing, it was a perfect moment for the VIP welcoming night! Scuzz Lightyear Scuzz Lightyear was one of the bands I hadn't had the pleasure of hearing before the festival, and I decided to keep them a mystery. As soon as they entered the stage with covers, I knew they were a fantastic choice to end the evening. Scuzz Lightyear just performed various covers from Blink-182 to Deftones to Limp Bizkit. Bringing the live music to a close for the evening with Scuzz Lightyear was a 10/10 experience, and I hope to see them again soon. Although we didn't make it to the DJ sets, you could hear the chattering and singing from the arena grounds. The environment of artists, fans, and long-time friends coming back together for their yearly meeting made you feel so at home. Whether it was your first time coming or your fifth year at the festival, once you stepped through those gates, it was a place you entirely belonged, a second home, and somewhere you never wanted to leave. Please take a look through our slider; we may have captured you! Keep a lookout for full reviews from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which are coming soon and are already wanting to be a part of next year's VIP Welcome Party? Why not get your Call Of The Wild Festival 2026 tickets booked early with an already spectacular line-up? It's not gonna be one to miss! Massive thanks to Upstaged Limited! Team for having us come and cover the 2025 festival! More reviews to come
