  • Cavalera Conspiracy - The Corporation Sheffield - 18.6.24

Ashes Of Ire Loud, heavy and hot can be the way to describe tonight at the Corporation In Sheffield Opening local band Ashes Of Ire, a metalcore/melodic Death Metal band. A powerful setting to the evening of heavy metal that fills the room, Ashes Of Ire sets up the night nicely. Cavalera Conspiracy  Original know as Sepultura and now transforming into Cavalier Conspiracy take to the stage for a night of pure passion. Solid, fast, hard and incredibly soul-power rifts of Cavalier fill the stage, With the occasional moment to breathe before falling back into a crowd of movement This is a show to not forget in a while.  Incredible lighting and the loudest sound. Two screens show the constantly different images throughout the band's show which is an interesting take to the stage show. Watching the fast-paced solos and fast-paced headbanging is an incredible experience within itself with the true talent of this band.  The fans know what they are here for and don't take a break for even a second. If you haven't heard of Cavalera Conspiracy before, I would highly recommend giving them a listen to their Schizophrenia re-recorded album out June 21st, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.  Setlist from Cavalera Conspiracy  Bestial Devastation Antichrist Necromancer Warriors Of Death Morbid Visions Mayhem Crucifixion Funeral Rites From The Past Comes The Storms Septic Schizo Inquisition Symphony/ Escape To The Void Refuse/Resist/Territory Troops Of Doom Morbid Devastation / Dead Embryonic Cells / R.I.P (Disclaimer this was written as a piece for another magazine which didn't get published so it has been added to my archived work)

  • Korn FT Loathe- The Piece Hall- Halifax 9-8-24

I had the fantastic Opportunity to photograph KoRn and Loathe at The Piece Hall in Halifax as part of the Tk Maxx Presents live events which have been happening all over the summer. Having such an honour to work alongside other photographers in the music scene really made it a special evening. As my review was being done for Metal JunkBox I wanted to share some more of the photographs which didn't get used in that review of just how special that evening was. Loathe Loathe was such a delight to watch this night. None stop moving around the stage and the crowd moving in time to the sound is something you don't often see from looking directly at a band view which is why I can see the amount of love that was for Loathe. I had never heard of them before this night and decided to keep it that way until I saw them live which was an specular moment. Korn KoRn was unforgettable that evening with a fantastic stage and lighting set up. Seeing the famous H.R.Gi gar microphone stand up close is something that you can't forget in a heart beat. From the lights to the sound of the crowd roaring back to watching crowd surfers fall in to the pit and moving around other photographer while watching up-close with how KoRn Performed was a moment to remember for a long time!
