Draconian Reign ft Veiled and Perpetual Paradox at Lending Room Leeds 22-2-2025

Writer: Samantha PottsSamantha Potts

Tonight at The Lending Room In Leeds are Draconian Reign ft support from Veiled and Perpetual Paradox.

Perpetual Paradox

Starting this evening's show is Perpetual Paradox from London. The five-piece metal band kicks off the set. The dark and smoky atmosphere works quite well for the band, though the small stage can't contain them for very long, with lead singer Adrain jumping off the stage and running around the floor multiple times during their set. They sounded on-point and performed amazingly together!

Veiled

Leeds deathcore band Veiled take to the stage. Having seen Veiled 3 times before, they just keep getting better and better. You are truly taken on a journey each time you see them, and not one show is ever the same; you always spot something new within their set. They always sound so spot on and know how to lure the crowd in every time! Their set contained "Rituals", "Hellbound", "The Sentenced", and "Forgive Me". Their storytelling and spell-binding set always leaves you wanting more! As always, they sound heavy and spot on. I'm looking forward to watching them grow and seeing where they will go next!

Draconian Reign

We finish up the evening with our headline band, the dark symphonic deathcore band Draconian Reign. I can't avoid saying they didn't have a set without a lot of technical difficulties throughout their entire set, BUT they handled the set the best they could, given the circumstances. Although they had to cut a few songs from their set, they sounded amazing and made me want to come back to witness them in a full show again. They handled everything in their stride and showed true showmanship even when things went wrong. Hopefully, I will get to capture them again soon to witness them in their full power!
