Taking over Leeds O2 Academy Leeds is South Yorkshire While She Sleeps, supported by Connecticut, USA metalcore band Currents, Sweden's Hardcore Punk/Metalcore band Thrown, and Resolve from France.

Resolve

Kicking off the evening is Resolve, who gets the crowd up and moving with the 2023 song 'Human'. Having seen Resolve earlier in the year performing at The Key Club, it's such a delight to see them with extra space to interact with the crowd and enjoy themselves while performing. Resolve also performed 'Death Awaits' and 'Older Days'. The growth in Resolve performances will make them an unstoppable force that will take over the music scene.

Thrown

Up next is Thrown the Swedish hardcore punk/metalcore band that kicks off their set with 'Guilt' The bouncy group keeps up the energy throughout all of their set. The mixture of rapping and metalcore vocals flow through the set capturing the crowd and getting them up and moving along to other songs on the setlist including "Parasite" and "Bloodsucker". Thrown will be back touring around the UK next year.

Currents

The growing crowd screams as Connecticut, USA metalcore band Currents takes their rightful place as this evening's main support. 'Monsters' sends a sea of Crowd surfers over the barriers with a moshpit opening and fans screaming back every word. It was my first time watching Currents perform and you can see why their fans adore them. They fill the stage amazingly and leave the crowd singing back every word of their set. Other songs included 'Guide Us Home', 'So Alone' And 'Better Days'

While She Sleeps

The final act of the evening While She Sleeps takes to the stage. Having played a hometown sold-out show a few nights before the Sheffield the Metalcore band coming out in a cover of Darkness leader singer Lawrence 'Loz' Taylor gets the crowd up and moving into a frenzy with crowd surfers flying over the barriers and moshpits half the size of the O2 Academy Leeds Opening up. Most of the set consisted of the recent album 'Self Hell'. Throughout their entire set While She Sleeps has control of the crowd and watching the show from above the academy floor you can see the love that everybody in the room has.

Joining While She Sleeps on stage for 'Down' is the lead singer Brian from Currents, and for 'Silence Speaks' is Anthony from Resolve. During 'To The Flowers, ' flowers were thrown into the crowd, giving a beautiful touch to the evening. The evening brought together unity and passion from both the crowd and While She Sleeps, giving them an escape from the world outside, freedom, and a special moment to relax and be around new and old friends.
